Balochistan Under Attack: 12 Terrorists Neutralized, Security Operations Continue

Security forces successfully neutralized twelve terrorists and injured many others in response to multiple attacks across Balochistan, as reported by state-run Radio Pakistan on Monday.

Cowardly Attacks Across Balochistan
Terrorists launched attacks at various locations in Balochistan, but the exact locations were not specified. The security forces and law enforcement agencies effectively responded, with operations continuing until the threat is fully eliminated.

Multiple Attacks on Security Forces
On Sunday night, armed men attacked Levies and police stations in Mastung, Kalat, Pasni, and Suntsar. Explosions and grenade attacks were also reported in Sibi, Panjgur, Mastung, Turbat, Bela, and Quetta.

Railway Track Sabotaged
In a major blow to infrastructure, armed men destroyed a railway track connecting Pakistan with Iran in Mastung’s bypass area.

BLA Claims Responsibility
The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attacks, targeting several areas across Kalat district.

Casualties Reported
Eleven individuals, including security personnel, lost their lives, while six others were injured. Four Levies sepoys were martyred in the clashes, along with a police sub-inspector, a tribal elder, and two civilians.

Hostage Situation and Raids
In Kalat, armed men attacked Levies personnel, taking them hostage, and exchanged fire with law enforcement agencies. Pasni police station was ransacked, vehicles were burned, and weapons were stolen. In Suntsar, another police station was attacked, with official weapons taken by the assailants.

Emergency Response
An emergency has been declared at hospitals, and bodies along with injured personnel have been shifted to Kalat Civil Hospital.

Government’s Response
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has vowed to provide facts and evidence after investigations into the attacks.
