Incident Overview
On Monday, armed men killed 23 people after forcing them out of their vehicles at a road blockade in Balochistan’s Musakhail district. The attack took place on an inter-provincial highway near Rarrah Sham, targeting trucks and buses, according to a report by Musakhail police chief Ayub Achakzai.
Attack Detail
The attackers mainly targeted victims from Punjab, pulling them out of their vehicles and shooting them. They also set fire to more than 10 vehicles before fleeing the scene. Heavy police force and Levies officers retaliated, rushing the deceased to a nearby hospital.
